We’ve also included popular or highly anticipated activities outside of our very local area. Most of these activities are free or nearly free, but please call ahead or check the venue’s website for full entry/ticketing information.

Home Depot Kids Workshop – Saturday, April 5, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Build a “Rio 2” themed birdbath/bird feeder in honor of the upcoming sequel at this free activity for children ages 5-12. Registration required.

Hee Haw Farms Spring Fling – April 7 – May 10, 2014
Experience springtime on the farm with baby animals in the petting farm, hayrides, animal train rides, giant slide, hay-jump and more. Activities are free with paid admission.

Book Signing w/ Lance Conrad – Saturday, April 12, 1:00 PM
Join Lance Conrad, the author of the book “The Price of Creation”, for his presentation and book signing.

Lowe’s Build & Grow Workshop – Saturday, April 12, 10:00 AM
Lowe’s is going green with this clinic – Kids will build their own awesome Recycling Truck. Registration required.

Utah County Women’s Expo – Fri & Sat, April 18-19, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM
A perfect reason to sneak out for a great time with the girls. Two days of fashion shows, beauty products, home decor, exercise help, self-improvement seminars, money saving ideas, DIY, health, makeovers, hairstyling, food demos, gift ideas, spa samplings, vacations, family activities and giveaways galore.

Thanksgiving Point’s Annual Tulip Festival – April 18 – May 3, 2014
Featuring 250,000 tulips in the 55-acre Thanksgiving Point Gardens, the Tulip Festival is an awe-inspiring sight that is redesigned each year.
Location: Thanksgiving Point Gardens, 3900 North Garden Drive, Lehi
Cost: $12.00 – 15.00

Saratoga Springs Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast – Saturday, April 19, 8:00 – 10:00 AM
Breakfast from 8 – 10 AM includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and juice. Egg hunt starts at 9 AM for kids Ages 0 – 14. Proceeds go to Westlake Marching Thunder.

Hee Haw Farms Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 19, 10:00 PM
3000 colored eggs will fill the courtyard at Hee Haw Farms. Find one of the 12 gold eggs and win a prize. Enjoy face-painting, crafts, games and more. Event is free with paid admission. Ages 2 – 12.

Utah Valley Moms Spring Event – Saturday, April 19, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The first spring event for this group features ongoing egg hunts, vendors, games & activities. Registration is free, but required.
Location: Manderley Reception Center, 1675 N Freedom Boulevard #10G, Provo

Raising Backyard Chickens Class – Saturday April 19, 2:00 – 3:00 PM
There are many reasons to raise chickens in your backyard. Learn more just in time to pick up chicks at your local store.

Thanksgiving Point Half Marathon – Monday, April 26, 7:00 AM
The 1/2 Marathon begins at Electric Park and runs through the Thanksgiving Point Gardens at the height of the annual Tulip Festival.
